November 27, 2009: Enter Kyle - comic geek and Vaempir Testament superfan! Kyle tends to worship the ground Derek and the rest of the band walk on. He exactly the type of character that tends to have a short life-span in stories like this. Of course keeping him around would be torture for poor Casey since he fits the stereotype of the mouth-breathing nerd who has no social skills around women. So which way to go with Kyle-- kill him quick or keep him around for comic relief? I guess you'll just have to wait and see!

*Mind you, there is a 3rd option for Kyle as well - the Samwise Syndrome. For those unaware of "The Lord of the Rings", the true hero of the trilogy of books (and films) is Samwise. Sure, he's fat and annoying and, at times, useless. But it's his undying devotion to Frodo that ends up saving all of Middle Earth. So there's always that possibility as well...
